Kelly Lamb is a Gomeroi Woman whose ancestors are Gamilaraay people from Coolah and the Hunter Valley of NSW.
Kelly is an experienced and dedicated leader who is committed to ensuring Liberty continues to provide effective, easily-accessible services to people in our local community affected by domestic and family violence.
Kelly is Deputy Chair and Director of DVNSW, the peak body for domestic and family violence in NSW.
Brooke Maggs is Liberty’s DFV Prevention Manager, where she leads the Everybody’s Business workplace program, partnering with businesses, government and community organisations to build safer, more respectful workplace cultures and strengthen responses to domestic and family violence. She also co-facilitates Liberty’s Respectful Relationships education program in local primary and high schools, supporting primary prevention through education settings.
Jenna is Liberty’s DFV Response Manager, leading a client centred team to deliver integrated, holistic support to women and children experiencing domestic and family violence.
She builds strong relationships with community, service providers and partner organisations to strengthen local responses to DFV and leads engagement activities and key partnerships to further the organisations purpose.
Beck is Liberty’s Accommodation Manager, leading the programs and teams across Crisis Accommodation and Transitional Housing. These service areas support and empower women experiencing domestic and family violence and/or homelessness to attain and maintain safe accommodation.
Before stepping into this leadership role, Beck coordinated Liberty’s Transitional Housing program, bringing deep experience and a strong understanding of housing pathways and client support.
Mel is Liberty’s Compliance and Operations Manager, overseeing organisational compliance, policy and procedure development, and procurement.
Mel joined the Executive Leadership Team after previously leading Liberty’s Crisis Accommodation program and working within the Liberty Links mobile outreach service. Her background also includes frontline roles as a domestic and family violence support worker across Liberty’s outreach services and men’s programs.
With over 15 years’ experience in the corporate finance sector, Mel brings strong governance, operational, and financial expertise to her role. She has also volunteered with Lifeline, the Telegraph Point Community Association, and St Vincent de Paul.
Mel holds a CIV in Community Services, a Diploma of Community Services, and a CIV in Finance.

Brooke is the Client Support Team Leader at Liberty, overseeing the Client Support team and programs delivered at Liberty Cottage..
With a Bachelor of Social Work and extensive experience in social services and client advocacy, she is committed to empowering individuals impacted by domestic and family violence.
Brooke leads her team to ensure every client receives the support, resources, and care they need to feel safe and regain control of their lives. Brooke brings strong skills in trauma-informed practice, service coordination and client centred support and is dedicated to strengthening Liberty’s role in the community.
Abby leads Liberty’s Crisis Accommodation, Galbaanbaa (‘Women’s Place’ in local Gathang language), and Djiyaganbaa (‘Sister Place’ in local Gathang language).
Abby previously worked in a youth residential home mentoring and caring for young adults. She has also worked in out-of-home care and the disability sector.
Abby holds a Bachelor of Criminal Justice and a CIV in Mental Health.
Catherine is a solicitor and long time Port Macquarie resident, having raised her four children in Port. She has always maintained an active involvement in the community working at various times in childcare, aged care and in legal practice. She is passionate about social justice and the rights and welfare of women and children.
Dr Jacinta Spry is a General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health and psychological medicine.
Jacinta moved to the region with her husband and two children and enjoys the relaxed coastal outdoor lifestyle of Port Macquarie.
Margaret is a retired Certified Practising Accountant and is now engaged in studying for a post graduate certificate in Environmental Sustainability with UNE. She is active in LandCare programs in the local area and Kendall Community Garden.
Margaret has completed several volunteer accounting roles throughout the Asia-Pacific region with Australian Business Volunteers.
Anne is an experienced managing director, general manager, project manager and civil engineer, having held key leadership roles in state and local government sectors, rail and civil construction industries.
Anne is a champion for safety, sustainability and diversity; and is active in her advocacy for increasing female participation in the rail industry and closing the gender pay gap.
Julia is a Clinical Psychologist, working part time in her private practice. Prior to moving to Port Macquarie, Julia worked in Bankstown Hospital’s inpatient psychiatric unit and Community Mental Health Service for 15 years.
She also currently works part time as the Chaplain at Hastings Public School. Julia is the Secretary of the Mid North Coast Refugee Support Group, which supports a small group of Tamil refugees and aims to improve our country’s response to refugees.
Vanda has a Bachelor of Education degree and built a career in early childhood education. She was involved in the licensing of NSW Children’s Services and policy development for safe standards in childcare.
Moving to Port Macquarie in 2018, Vanda values close connections with family and friends. She enjoys sharing her passions for nature, live music, yoga, book club and travel.
Vanda believes education, women’s health and equal opportunity are central to the wellbeing of all communities. She values working with others towards Liberty’s goals.
